Tottenham's Next Game Prediction..

it's gonna be a tough game for us against sunderland.. there are couples of ex-spurs currently playing for sunderland.. bent, malbranque, andy reid, fulop..

benty will be fired up to show his worth to redknapp.. luckily k. jones is out with suspension.. their midfield will be less threatening without two hard tackling midfielder, cana and cattermole.. but still there's richardson.. malbranque was good for us and will always be good for sunderland too.. andy reid is a good player too..

their defend with turner, a. ferdinand in it.. would be a tough nut to crack..

Our team will be without lennon, bassong, modric, thankgoodness defoe is back.. he'll gonna score a brace this weekend.. here's my line up for the game..

gomes

corluka king woodgate bae

bentley jenas palacios bale/kranjcar

"I hate when spurs losing game.."

A delighted Clive Allen described Tuesday's reserve team friendly victory over RC Lens as 'an excellent all-round performance and experience'.

Lens, currently third in Ligue 1 of the French Championnat, fielded 10 players boasting first-team experience including ex-Liverpool defender Gregory Vignal.

They looked the part in the early stages with the impressive Jussie Ferreira lashing home from 30 yards to open the scoring after 16 minutes.

The home side continued to threaten as we found our feet but after a couple of fine saves from Robert Burch, we hit them on the break with Andy Barcham racing onto Jamie O'Hara's pass and finishing his one-on-one chance in style.

O'Hara and Barcham combined again to set-up Simon Dawkins for 2-1 just before the break and it was 3-1 within a minute of the restart as Barcham squared for Tomas Pekhart to tap home.

Tommy Forecast saved a penalty with 18 minutes left and although an own goal made it 3-2, it was too little too late for Lens.

"We had to solve a number of problems against a very experienced Lens side and we did fantastically well to get back into the game and win it comfortably in the end," beamed development coach Clive.

"They looked threatening and were technically very gifted but after about 30 minutes we got organised, got a good shape, made it difficult for them and looked dangerous on the counter-attack.

"We deserved our goals and went in at half-time leading but with a couple of things to sort out.

"We immediately went 3-1 in front and then it was a case of how you control the game and go on to win it.

"That second half performance was exactly what you would look for against a very good side like Lens. We were controlled, defended well, maintained good shape and continued to look dangerous on the counter-attack.

"As an exercise, it was a first-class experience for the lads and I have no doubts that it will help them in terms of being able to adapt their game in different situations and playing on foreign soil."

Henry eyes Gunners exit..

Thierry Henry is unhappy and wishes he had joined Barcelona in the summer, according to a respected source close to Eatsleepsport.
Henry is said to be looking for a move in the January transfer window after becoming disillusioned with life at Arsenal.

The news will come as a massive blow to Arsene Wenger, who spent most of last season persuading the French superstar his future was with the Gunners.

Having believed he had successfully tied down Henry's future to the club, Wenger will be disappointed to hear that Henry is regretting his decision to stay and wants to move on.

There have been rumours of unrest in recent weeks and, in his programme notes ahead of the draw with CSKA Moscow in the Champions League, Henry publicly criticised the club's fans for having a go at the team and for not showing enough patience in the draw with Everton.

French great Michel Platini said at the weekend that Henry had made a mistake not joining Barcelona last summer and now a well known figure in the game claims the striker feels the same way and wants to leave the Emirates Stadium.

Spurs eye left winger

SPURS are believed to have ended their seemingly never-ending quest for a left-sided midfielder according to reports in Holland.

After missing out on Stewart Downing in the summer transfer window and being linked with a number of wide left players, including Hatem Ben Arfa, Martin Petrov and Luis Boa Morte, Tottenham have reportedly identified their next target and are poised to agree a deal in January.

Brazilian 22-year-old Leonardo, who plays for NAC Breda, is said to be the man that Damien Comolli and Martin Jol will turn to, and according to reports in Holland the player has a clause in his contract which would allow him to move for 750,000 euros.
